Jim Highberger, received his Master's in Public Administration at
the University of Colorado in 2014. His studies focused on prisoner
reentry and he did his thesis with the Denver Community Reentry Project.
His work looked at the differences in recidivism rates among
participants enrolled into the Community Reentry Project, to determine
if length of enrollment had an impact on recidivism. Jim started with
the Center for Drug and Health Studies in January 2015, where he focuses on
conducting and analyzing the Delaware School Survey and the Youth Risk
Behavior Survey. Jim also works with the CDC Department of Adolescent
and School Health and other colleagues to help promote HIV/STD
prevention through school based surveillance and programs.
