    Biography

    Lin Liu is Ph.D. candidate in Criminology at the University of Delaware. Her research interests revolve around gender and crime, former prisoners' reentry, and the trajectory of offending over life course. She is currently a research assistant in the Center for Drug and Health Studies at the University of Delaware and primarily works on analyzing the data from Delaware Youth Risk Behavior Survey (YRBS) and Delaware School Survey (DSS), two annual surveys that measure the substance use and other risky behaviors among public school students in Delaware. She also evaluates the intervention programs on youth substance use. Lin earned her M.A. in Criminology from the University of Delaware in 2016. Her recent publications can be viewed on Crime & Delinquency, Justice QuarterlyJournal of Offender Rehabilitation, Social Science Research, Marquette Law Review, The Prison Journal, and Sociological Inquiry.
