Pitching Research Findings about the Opioid Epidemic at the 2019 ACCEL Community Research Exchange Meeting

​The opioid abuse epidemic continues to rage across the United States. At the 2019 ACCEL Community Research Exchang Meeting, David Borton, a researcher at the Center for Drug and Health Studies, and Kris Fraser, the manager of Statistic and Research Unit at Delaware Division of Substance Abuse and Mental Health, presented the findings about the opioid epidemic in Delaware as well as the barriers to receiving treatment among vulnerable social groups.
